Stand-in stackers are an ideal choice when looking to maximise the efficiency of your warehouse space. Combining minimal dimensions, a tight turning circle, and excellent operator protection, they offer an affordable and flexible alternative to a full VNA solution. AXiA XL models all feature telescopic forks for flexible and versatile use, from handling longer loads to working with double deep racking setups.
With double deep stacking, four pallets can be stored between each pair of aisles, allowing for a much more optimal use of space. Storage cost per square meter is reduced by up to 17% and the number of pallet locations increases by 25–30%.
And standing is the most efficient position for an operator from a working point of view, easily allowing them to frequently step on and off throughout a shift. There is ample space to work while still offering excellent all-round protection while working, and by being entirely within the truck they are better protected against collisions. This working position also makes all-around visibility much better.

Key Features
Standing vs regular
By keeping the operator completely within the truck, not only are they better protected in cases of accident or impact, but the truck itself can be more compact and manoeuvrable, allowing for use in narrower aisles.
Enhanced Stability System (ESS)
As well as the high-stability chassis design, automatic systems are in place additional to automatically reduce acceleration during sharper turns and reduce drive speed when forks are above 1.7 m.
Ergo Forks Trailing Control
When travelling over long distances with forks trailing, this additional control option allows for a more comfortable standing position with the operator facing forward. (Option)
Telescopic forks
Not only do these allow for a double deep stacking set up in the warehouse, but they can be extended to carry two pallets at a time or long goods. They also allow for further reach across lorry beds and conveyors, meaning loading and unloading can be carried out from one side.
Intelligent Cornering System
The truck senses the angle of a turn and reduces speed early. This makes for much safer handling with maximum stability and accurate, positive cornering.
Li-ion battery
This option allows for quick charging, while minimising maintenance - avoiding the need for costly extra batteries and time-consuming changeovers. (Option).
Wide straddle models
Positioning the legs on the outside of a pallet allows the forks to work with close-bottomed pallets and specialised loads. The open space also enable the use of a variety of special handling attachments e.g. spikes, clamps, rolls, etc. Standard width between straddles is 855 mm or 1055 mm. Other widths are available if required.
360° Steering
Allows smooth turning without the 'pause' of a 3-point turn. It not only saves time in each and every turn - which adds up over the length of a shift - but puts less force on the load. This makes for quicker, safer, and more stable operation. (Option)
